My Uncle would always say, “It takes money to make money!”
It’s unfortunate, but very often that is the case. Even when you are doing all the creative and logistical work yourself - there are still expenses.
If you are a painter, you have to buy paints and other supplies. When making a record you need to use a recording facility, or purchase the right computer, software and microphones to do it. Writing a screenplay means subscribing to Word and perhaps taking some workshops on the professional layout structure of it all. Even starting a relatively simple service oriented endeavor online requires a website and hosting and some advertising costs. And it takes money to network as well!
I have been in that same place for so many things that I have done. Sometimes these financial considerations become the main stumbling block for being able to move forward.
So if necessary - as a component of your life coaching - we can also discuss how you will raise money for your creative endeavors. I have spent eight years as the Creative Director at a NY digital marketing agency, and am skilled to be an adviser, or the hands-on creator, of your Kickstarter, GoFundMe, or other crowdfunding platform - deciding how to best present what you are trying to do, what content you will need, how to create it, determine what your goal amount and reward tiers should be, and create a timeline to promote it.
In addition to crowd source funding, there are often other alternatives for raising the money you need, and if appropriate for your own venture, we can discuss your options, and create a viable plan.
